East Grinstead are hoping an impressive coaching set-up can propel them to promotion.
Player-coach Ian Pattison has strengthened his club's backroom team with two new appointments.
Jim House, coach of the Guildford's women side and the England team doctor, has joined the coaching staff along with Chris Wilson, who is the hockey professional at Hurstpierpoint and has worked with a number of top South African sides.
Pattison said: "That has strengthened our coaching back up. I have been concentrating on coaching recently and I have been enjoying myself. Chris Wilson is a superb coach and Jim House will be excellent for us.
"The opportunity to have several pairs of eyes, not just looking on training but at statistics and videos as well, is extremely helpful."
Skipper Dominick Male will be hoping to celebrate his 21st birthday in style as Grinstead entertain Formby tomorrow.
Kevin King returns to the squad after injury but David Litchfield is unavailable.
Pattison will probably play for the seconds who have an an important game against Havant straight after the first team match.
Lewes are without Matt Lloyd (knee injury) as they entertain leaders Bowdon at the Southdown Club.
