I drive from Eastbourne to Brighton on the A27 almost every day and have a question I have been pondering for years.
Who, if anyone, takes responsibility for removing the bodies of those poor animals that litter the roads?
I feel so sad as I see the same creature crushed daily until it is nothing but a dried piece of hair, fur or feather.
Surely these innocent victims of the age of the car deserve some dignity and could be removed and buried?
