"Cycle lane madness" couldn't be more apt for Alan Pipes and his pathetic moan (February 4).
I see Mr Pipes wears glasses. Why does he not use them to find the kerbside and ride his ridiculous machine on the road adjacent to it like generations of cyclists before him have?
Why should council taxpayers have to pay for silly little lanes with pictures of bicycles beside them to show people like Mr Pipes where the side of the road is?
It should be obvious you ride a bicycle next to the kerb.
What next? Footprints and walking figures on the pavement to show pedestrians where to go?
