Haywards Heath will call on their answer to Austin Healey to help propel them towards top spot in London One.
Versatile Mark Pymm has been handed the scrum half shirt for the game at Harlow as Heath continue their quest for a national league place.
The Sussex side have topped 50 points in each of their last two matches but are keen to give match practice to as many squad members as possible.
That means skipper Alex Meredith sits on the bench to give Pymm the No. 9 jersey while hooker Nick Killick, scorer of three tries against Canterbury last week, misses out altogether, Gordon Denslow comes in with Tom Gribble again on the bench. Heath regularly alternate between their senior hookers but Meredith's absence is more surprising.
He said: "I am fully fit and have been training but Pymmy has been pressing me hard and deserves a chance.
"He is our Austin Healey. He can cover any position in the backs. He has been playing well and training hard and will not let anybody down."
Heath are four points adrift of frontrunners Southend but have a superior points difference and three games in hand.
The leaders face a tricky test at fifth-placed Sutton and Epsom tomorrow while Hertford, the only other side in the title race, should win at home to Cheshunt.
