Crawley's caretaker boss Francis Vines has been frustrated in his attempts to strengthen his squad in time for tomorrow's league trip to Weymouth.
Vines wants to add to the squad after losing Dave Stevens and Barry Moore, who is off to South Carolina to play for Charleston Battery, in the last week.
He said: "It's been frustrating, but hopefully we should have a new face or two at the club next week."
Defender Ellis Hooper is their only doubt for the trip to Dorset after suffering a recurrence of his knee injury at Burnham in midweek but he should be fit.
Meanwhile, defender Marc Pullan has been called into the FA's National Game Board XI for next week's friendly against Belgium in Ostend.
