Winger Henry Goodburn scored two superb tries as Haywards Heath grabbed a precious London One win.
They came from 8-0 down to beat Harlow 30-23 and keep up the pressure on leaders Southend.
Andy Cook raced 80 yards for a try and Goodburn pounced after charging down Rhys Loveday's attempted clearance as Heath went 10-8 up.
Loveday replied with a great try down the narrow side but Stuart Charnley's penalty saw Heath change ends level at 13-13 after playing against wind and slope.
Skipper Alex Meredith said: "They threw everything at us in the first half but we soaked it up."
Gooodburn finished off a Dave Wattam break and Charnley converted before getting on the end of a superb move involving front row men Gordon Denslow and Emmet Edwards, as well as most of the backs.
Harlow conjured two tries, the first of them after a Wattam mistake, to claw back to 25-23 but Wattam made amends by ripping the ball free from a maul and diving over. Meredith added: "Harlow is a tough place to go. Hertford have already lost there. It was a gutsy performance by us."
