A smiling Norman Cook said today that he and wife Zoe Ball were back together and trying to make their troubled marriage work again.
The Hove DJ, aka Fatboy Slim, also asked reporters outside his beachfront home for privacy so he and Zoe could repair their relationship.
He said they had patched things up since separating in December.
It is understood that Zoe, who had been living in London since the separation, had moved back into their Sussex home at the weekend on her return from a break in the Seychelles.
Norman, who has been looking after the couple's two-year-old son Woody, sounded cheerful as he spoke to journalists via an intercom system.
He said: "We are seeing each other again but we really want to be left alone now."
He also revealed how he had received flowers at a flat in north London where he had spent time with Zoe.
Former Radio 1 presenter Zoe told recently how she had had a deep friendship with fellow DJ Dan Peppe.
