Referring to R Weedon's comments about pensioners being shortchanged by Gordon Brown (Letters, February 7), my pension increase starts on April 10.
Am I, or is R Weedon, an exception? In view of the many moans by pensioners, I would like to state I find the £200 fuel allowance and free television licence a very great help.
