Shep Plastics, the Hailsham-based manufacturing company, has achieved Investor in People status.
BBC broadcaster John Radford will be making the formal presentation of the award on March 13.
The 77-strong workforce will be represented by some of the company's longest-serving staff.
The company also provides employment for a number of local rehabilitation clinics.
Shep Plastics, which has entered its 29th year in the manufacturing industry, is bucking the trend in the hard-hit sector.
It has a full order book despite the threats of cheaper manufacturing in Asia and a local skills shortage.
Chief executive Malcolm Bradshaw said: "In these times of skills shortages it is important to invest in your valuable assets - your staff."
