A man is on a life support machine following a crash with a van.
The 40-year-old was a passenger in a Lancia Prisma saloon car when it was in collision with a van in Isaacs Lane, Haywards Heath, on Monday.
He and the driver of the Lancia, a 37-year-old man from Burgess Hill, are at the Princess Royal Hospital in Haywards Heath.
The van driver was also taken to hospital, suffering slight injuries.
