How ironic Brighton's Palace Pier, owned by a company that has delayed the restoration of our wonderful West Pier, should have a small taste of what it would be like to lose such a valuable asset.
It pains me to say this as a proud Brighton resident but I almost hoped the Noble Organisation may have had to go to the Lottery Fund for a grant.
