Lewes will hold a minute's silence before Saturday's match against Croydon in memory of club president Tom Carr who died last Friday following a heart attack.

Carr had been involved with Lewes Football Club for more than 60 years, initially as a player, later as chairman and then president.

He was one of five brothers to have played for the club.

Lewes chairman Terry Parris said: "He was probably one of the most well known and well respected people in Sussex football."
