The sum of £27,624 spent on foreign trips is another example of how Brighton and Hove City Council is squandering taxpayers' money.

Not content with increasing their allowances at every opportunity, officers and councillors expect to travel the world with all expenses paid.

I hope there will be changes in the next council elections and people prepared to cut down on all waste and unnecessary projects will come forward as candidates.
