Withdean's bid for promotion to the Ryman League has been given a major boost with news that Combined Counties League leaders AFC Wallingford will not have the facilities to go up.
Wallingford have announced they cannot get their ground ready in time which means Withdean could be promoted if they finish second in the table behind the current leaders.
Withdean are currently lying fourth, ten points behind second placed Wimbledon but with eight games in hand.
Tomorrow Withdean entertain Hartley Wintney at Worthing in the quarter final of the League Cup.
Roy Pook and Glen Davies are doubts with flu.
