A newborn baby from Eastbourne is steadily improving after being injured when the ambulance he was travelling in crashed.
The seven-day-old boy remains in intensive care in a stable condition at Guy's Hospital, London.
He suffers from a heart condition and sustained a fractured skull and internal bleeding when the ambulance was in collision with a police car and overturned on Monday.
The ambulance was taking the baby from Eastbourne District General Hospital to Guy's.
His parents were following close behind.
