Work will begin today to install safety features at a notorious accident spot in Eastbourne.
Eight crashes in three years resulting in injuries have occurred at the junction of Willingdon Drove and Milfoil Drive.
Work to build a mini-roundabout, make alterations to road markings and street lighting and create a lay-by for the bus stop will take place as part of a £100,000 scheme.
The work is expected to take six weeks and may involve some delay to traffic when temporary lights are installed.
