Imagine the most hideous thing you can. When that vision is solidly housed in your mind, double it, double it again, hold that horrendous thought and - hey, presto! - you have the proposed "development" for the Endeavour site.

I am staggered to think someone who "knows the personality of Brighton" can propose this type of building for this site. I fail to see how any "sensitivity ... has been used in the design" or how there was any "thinking behind it". If there had been, the resultant proposal would not have been such an eyesore.

I fully support the idea that Brighton and Hove needs to invest in good-quality architecture and, in all fairness, this building should be heralded as potential good architecture - but not on this site.

We have seen this happen a number of times. I cite the Top Rank Suite. For the sake of all Brightonians, especially those who live near this location, do not let this nightmare be erected on this site.
