When are the traffic control officers of Brighton going to do something positive about the ghastly mess of parking in Baker Street, as they have chosen to make it a through way from the Level into London Road?
Why allow parking on both sides of this narrow road? It is ridiculous with lorries and such going through.
There is a right-hand turning half-way down, a pub on the corner, double yellow lines opposite yet cars park there, making manoeuvring impossible.
Now and again, one sees a traffic warden who appears to do very little. London Road is often reduced to single-lane traffic due to the appalling parking.
My heart goes out to the bus drivers. It must be a nightmare.
