Southwick turned the tables on Burgess Hill as they booked a Cup Final place against Sidley or Selsey with their 2-1 win at a frosty Beacon ground.
The rock hard surface meant it was no place for the faint-hearted and in the end Wickers won through thanks in no small measure to their iron-man central defenders Mark Burt and Damian Webber.
Their efforts meant Hillians created relatively little over the 90 minutes although they did take the lead with Andy Lutwyche's close-range header on 16 minutes.
But the lead lasted only five minutes as a long throw by Stuart Garrod grazed off the head of Hillian's midfielder Paul Williams and surprised keeper Pat Gannon, who fumbled the ball over the line.
Flat defending enabled Simon Funnell to score with a well-taken first-time shot on the stroke of half-time and it proved enough for Wickers to avenge Hillians' League double over them.
