Two petrol station robberies are being linked by police.
The first happened at the Esso Service Station in Station Road, East Grinstead, on Tuesday last week at 8.45am, while the second occurred at the Esso Service Station in Copthorne Common, Crawley, on Friday last week at 9.40pm.
In three men entered the forecourt shop. One jumped over the counter and assaulted the cashier before grabbing cash.
The offenders then ran off towards Wood Street.
The first man was described as black, in his late teens to early 20s, 5ft10in, and wore a dark sweatshirt.
The second, possibly a white man, was 5ft 8in, in his late teens, and wore a light-grey sweatshirt.
The third man was black, in his late teens, 5ft10in, and wore a dark hooded sweatshirt.
In the second incident, four men entered the forecourt shop. One of the men leaned over the counter and demanded money before taking cash.
Two of the offenders were seen running towards the main road.
The first offender was black, 22 to 23, with a London accent and a boxer's nose - big and flat.
The second man was black, in his early 20s, with a London accent and wore a dark hooded sweatshirt with white arms and a motif on the back.
