Daring thieves have stolen a unique weathervane in the shape of a dolphin which has stood proudly on the Madeira Lift in Brighton for more than a century.
They even put up scaffolding to take away the Victorian valuable without the alarm being raised.
It's surprising that, with such a large dolphin being removed by a gang, no one noticed anything fishy.
