With reference to Adam Trimingham's diatribe about dogs (February 20), I disbelieve his assertion 160 dog poops were found in any one day in Wish Park, Hove. One has only to check the dog bins there to see they are well and truly used.
As an occasional dog walker in Wish Park, I have seen one or two new notices displayed reminding dog walkers of their responsibilities and, so far, not one has been removed. I have noticed various snide remarks coming from Mr Trimingham's pen where dogs are concerned and methinks he has a bee in his bonnet.
Here is a reminder to him that, like car drivers, joggers and pedestrians, we dog walkers are part of the community and if he would get off his bike now and again and mix with the rest of us, he would realise how much we all try to behave.
