Shadow the hawk caused a stir when he flew into a gift shop at Saltdean and decided to stay there.
Luckily, the giant bird of prey was quickly reunited with his owner, thanks to good work by the East Sussex Wildlife Rescue Service.
It was all a great relief for shopkepeer Alan Pockney and customers in Longridge Avenue.
When the big bird flew in and settled, you could have knocked them down with a feather.
