The objections raised by East and West Sussex County Councils to the formation of a National Park would seem very undemocratic.
It has been already shown by Brighton and Hove City Council that some 90 per cent of the population is in favour of the park being formed so who are the county councils representing?
I gather they have earmarked £250,000 for a public inquiry into the plan. I hope members are using their own money.
