Parents will take to the streets in a bid to save their children's school.
A march being held on Saturday is the latest in a series of protests by parents from Heyworth School in Haywards Heath.
Last month, plans were revealed to move Heyworth, which serves the Bentswood community, three miles to a site in the new Bolnore Village development.
West Sussex County Council is considering a proposal to build a £2 million, 420-pupil school within the walled estate to replace Heyworth.
Angry parents say children would have to travel up to three miles to school. They are also concerned if the school goes, shops will be forced to close as well and the community as a whole will suffer.
Bentswood councillors Paddy Henry and Richard Goddard and parents met Mid Sussex MP Nicholas Soames on Saturday at Haywards Heath Town Hall.
Mr Soames said he would put their views before West Sussex County Council. The councillors are urging all parents in the town to march.
Coun Henry said: "It's not just about the children at Heyworth. The move will affect all children in the town.
"The county council has been trying to push this through without proper democratic process."
The march from Heyworth School to Bolnore Village and back has been approved by police and will begin at Heyworth School at 10am on Saturday.
