Yet another Parking protest is planned in Brighton and Hove by people who do not like the city council's policy on parking.
They will block the centre of Brighton and Hove during the middle of the rush hour on Tuesday, causing misery to thousands of people driving, walking or using public transport.
The city council has already made a number of concessions to traders as many of them are carrying out vital jobs.
But some of the traders seem to think they should be given a special dispensation not available to other drivers.
Parking controls are in force because there are too many vehicles competing for too few spaces in the city.
All drivers in restricted zones have to pay and there is no reason why traders should have preferential treatment.
There may still be room for compromise but the city council should make no more concessions while these traders are behaving irresponsibly.
