Chichester remain locked in relegation trouble in South Premier division one after a 2-2 draw with rock bottom Eastcote.
It could have been worse for third bottom Chichester who found themselves 2-0 down at one stage.
When Eastcote missed a penalty flick which would have put them further ahead it seemed to spur Chi into action and they responded with goals from Paul Robinson and Clive Dunn from short corners.
In Kent/Sussex division one, Eastbourne consolidated fourth spot with a 4-2 win at Crawley thanks to goals from Kevin Williams (two), Flo Pietzsch and Nick Corbett. Steve Main replied for Crawley from short corners.
South Saxons moved out of the bottom two with a 7-3 defeat of Crowborough. On target were Des Smith (two), Jeremy Bunday (two), Tim Eldridge (two) and Carl Lewington, while the replies for Borough came from Lee Roebuck, Ian Easton and Ian Brown.
Fran Malem scored twice as Horsham drew 2-2 with Southampton in the Women's South division one.
