A woman was assaulted and then pushed out of a moving car by her boyfriend.
Police are now appealing for the good Samaritans who helped the woman to come forward.
At about 7.30pm on Sunday February 2 a number of people stopped to assist a woman who had been the victim of a domestic assault in a car travelling along Worthing Road, Horsham.
PC Colin Kenward said: "The victim had been assaulted and pushed out of her slowly moving car by her boyfriend.
"The good Samaritans who stopped to help her saw the incident but didn't supply the victim with any of their details.
"I would urge these people to contact me, as well as anyone else who may have witnessed the incident."
Anyone with information should call PC Kenward at Horsham police station on 0845 6070999.
