It was raining threes on Monday as Bears struck 15 times from outside the arc against Newcastle.
Bears should really be among the BBL three-point leaders given the firepower in their team.
Mike Brown, nicknamed 'Downtown' because of his ability to hit from long range, believes it all comes down to hard work and confidence, which is now sky high.
Brown revealed: "Our motto is 'keep feeding the fire', which means you pass the ball to a player who is on a roll.
"When it's like that, you look at the basket and you see something big enough for about five balls to go through. If you miss a shot then you just have to say to yourself 'fine, that's only one'."
There is also a lot of unseen work going on from colleagues setting screens and supplying the ammunition.
Brown added: "We've got great guards who can penetrate and draw two people to them. When that happens, I go into the corner and wait for a pass.
"You tend to find a lot of players do not run to corners on defence so you get more room there but, if I'm open and I've got the confidence going, I will stick it up wherever I am on court.
"The more correct the follow through, the more chance there is of the ball going in the basket.
"Over the past month and a half we have been putting in a lot of work on shooting at practice and it shows in the percentages."
