Police are hunting a man who slashed a motorist's neck in an argument about parking outside a Worthing pub.
The 34-year-old driver needed stitches after the dispute in the Sussex Yeoman car park, in Palatine Road, got out of hand.
Although it is not known what weapon was used, a middle-aged man cut the victim's neck before driving off in a dark blue Peugeot on Friday at 10.30am.
The attacker was about 40, with brown hair, 5ft 8in, of medium build, clean-shaven, scruffy and wearing a jacket.
Police are also appealing for the driver of a silver Mitsubishi Shogun which was in the area at the time to come forward.
Anyone with information should call police on 0845 6070999.
