A busy stretch of the A27 dual carriageway in West Sussex was closed for almost two hours after a fast food delivery van sprang a gas leak.
Firefighters at Chichester found a 50kg propane cylinder leaking gas inside the vehicle, pulled up at the side of the A27 between Oving traffic lights and the Sainsbury's roundabout on Saturday afternoon.
The westbound and eastbound carriageways were closed until the cylinder was made safe and the vehicle ventilated.
