A bride-to-be has set the date for her wedding after scooping a £24,000 win at a Brighton bingo hall.
The 42-year-old Eastbourne woman was shaking so much after hitting the jackpot she had to go home without completing the rest of the games.
She can now afford to tie the knot.
She said: "We couldn't afford to get married before but we have set the date for November. We will be able to have the wedding and honeymoon of our choice."
The woman, who doesn't want to be named, was playing at the Gala Club in Freshfield Way, which plays a national bingo game with 550 other clubs nationwide, through a £2 million computer system.
She won £22,500 on the National Bingo Game, a regional prize of £1,379 and a club prize of £119.
She said: "I have been playing bingo since I was 18. I usually play with my girl friends in Eastbourne but my partner suggested we go to the Gala that night.
"It's the first time he's been with me. He's my lucky mascot now."
