Villagers are being asked to nominate community-minded people for a parish award.
Rustington Parish Council is inviting residents to send in the names of people they think should be given the 2003 Parishioners' Awards.
The two awards are made on an annual basis, one to an individual and one to a group or organisation.
They are made in recognition of outstanding public service to the community and all Rustington parishioners or parish-based organisations are eligible to receive them.
Each winner is presented with £50 prize money and a commemorative scroll, dish or trophy to keep as a memento.
Winners will be announced in June and attend a reception following the parish council's thanksgiving service on September 14.
Nominations should be sent by April 28 to Carole Ward, clerk of the council, Rustington Parish Council, Council Offices, 34 Woodlands Avenue, Rustington BN16 3HB.
