Restaurant bosses have got the go-ahead to cook up a new attraction.
A Brewsters Family Restaurant is to be built in Beech Hurst Gardens, Haywards Heath.
The Beech Hurst Gardens Charity has been given permission for the venture by the Charity Commission.
It will have an indoor play area and building is expected to start on Monday.
Mid Sussex District Council, which acts as trustees on behalf of the charity, said the gardens would remain fully open while the restaurant was being built.
Councillor Mike Gilks said: "The council is delighted the commission has given the go-ahead for this project. Beech Hurst Gardens is an extremely attractive facility, a factor which was a major consideration when looking at proposals to develop and improve the site.
"Once the restaurant is finished, the gardens will have a far superior level of facilities."
Building work is expected to finish by August.
