When I was a teenager, Bryan Ferry's music was, as far as I was concerned, the only music worth listening to.
I idolised him so much back then, I was scared I might be disappointed by his appearance at the Dome - my worst fear was that I would be embarrassed by my teenage tastes. No chance.
For the record, Bryan Ferry has one of the great voices of the past 30 years and he has written too many fantastic songs to mention.
He played a varied selection of songs, climaxing with old faves such as Slave To Love, Love Is The Drug and The Strand.
It was a big thrill to see guitarist Chris Spedding on such fine form and Roxy Music tub-thumper Paul Thomson hitting the drums as hard as ever.
And in answer to Bryan's question in Tokyo Joe ("where all the world's a stage, where are you?"), I have only this to say - I'm watching you Bryan, growing old gracefully.
