Vince Wild is a man after my own heart.
I, too, get very annoyed at the way Brighton and Hove City Council leaves some of the housing estates around the city.
Where I live, we have the same problem with herbicide man but worse is the Stirling Moss lawnmower man.
He belts around as though the end of the world is coming and some of the sharp manoeuvres he performs leave ruts of mud in the grass, which take forever to heal and leaves a mucky mess.
What I particularly dislike is that some of the rubbish is never cleared away but instead churned up and scattered all over the place as he runs over it and creates more of a mess than was there in the first place.
Lastly, why is the cut grass never cleared away? lt's left there to rot in huge chunks, which is very unsightly, particularly when it has been raining and is wet.
I was always led to believe you should never cut grass when it is wet. This no longer seems to apply.
Piles of grass are left lying to tempt the local kids to kick it all over the place, causing yet more mess.
Come on, council, get your act together.
