The two recent Craig Turton letters seem to be deliberately distancing himself from his Labour peers.

This habit appears to be something he has brought with him from his time on Haringey Council.

This tells me there is an almighty split in the Labour Party.

Mr Turton should also bear in mind he is only the prospective Labour candidate for East Brighton by virtue of the fact that two of the existing and very hard-working councillors in that ward have been deselected because they would not support the whims of Lord Bassam in his campaign to have an elected city mayor.
