Residents of a historic town who have called their first referendum will be sent information prior to the poll.
Arundel Town Council says information to help voters with the questions being posed will be circulated to all households in Arundel before the vote on April 10.
The parish poll has been called to decide if taxpayers' money should be used to reopen the town's open-air swimming pool.
The pool, which closed three years ago, needs thousands of pounds-worth of repairs.
Five questions will be posed, including whether Arundel Town and Arun District Councils should work in active partnership with the Arundel and Downland Community Leisure Trust to reopen the pool with both councils pledging financial support.
The trust took over responsibility for the site in Fitzalan Road in May last year from Arun District Council and set the target of raising £1.75 million to extend facilities.
Town councillors are urging all electors to vote.
Polling stations will be open from 4pm to 9pm.
