Bognor boss Jack Pearce admits he is amazed to see his patched up side chasing for the title.
Rocks go to fellow promotion chasers Horsham tomorrow aiming for a fifth successive win in division one south.
Defender Kevin Murphy returns from injury but boss Pearce still expects to only have 12 players available for the trip to Queen Street.
He said: "I'm pleased but I'm also quite amazed with where we are at the moment.
"All we can do is keep going and hope other teams keep dropping points."
Murphy's return in central defence means Jodey Rowland can revert to left back.
Carshalton's 3-0 midweek win at Bromley keeps them in charge of the title race but Bognor, Lewes and Horsham are all in hot pursuit.
Pearce added; "If we do well in our next three or four games we will be very well placed."
Horsham are still hoping striker Jamie Taylor agrees to extend his loan spell from Aldershot. Taylor hit both goals in a 2-1 win at Corinthian Casuals last Saturday, Hornets' fourth success in the last five league games.
Gary Charman is also back in the running after recovering from a tweaked hamstring.
Assistant boss Ali Rennie said: "This is a massive game for us."
Gary Young hopes to recover from an ankle injury in time to compete for a place in the Worthing defence at home to Croydon. Rebels beat high-flying Windsor 4-3 in midweek and Young's return would be the only change.
He admitted: "That was a very good win and hopefully we can start climbing the table again."
