Shoreham rounded off a difficult week with a 1-0 win at Piddinghoe Avenue which put another nail in the coffin for Peacehaven's relegation hopes.
The sudden resignation of chairman John Bell and player-manager Andy Agutter had left Shoreham in turmoil with suggestions that a number of players would follow them out of the club.
However, a new management structure has been put in place with reserve team boss Jim Downey taking over as boss and his players responded superbly at Peacehaven.
Downey said: "The only players who have left are Chris Dicker and Mark Pulling. The rest of the senior players, like Dominic Shepherd, Darren Annis, Reece Head and Wayne Potbury have stayed. Jason Tighe and Jamie Quinlan were out today but I am hopeful they are staying.
"I am really pleased. It wasn't the best of conditions but we created some good chances."
Darrell White, promoted from the reserves, grabbed the only goal with a 20-yard shot into the top corner to leave Peacehaven five points adrift of safety with five games to play.
