So, once again, a peaceful demonstration has been hijacked by a few thugs.
Anyone care to tell me how smashing council equipment (which will have to be paid for by the long-suffering council taxpayer) is going to stop the war in Iraq?
Not only that, but why did those fearless souls on the roof of Brighton Town Hall feel the need to wear balaclavas?
Were their ears cold?
I hope those who genuinely oppose war are not tarred with the same brush as the rent-a-protesters who simply treat these events as an opportunity to have fun.
