Luke Thomson is celebrating after winning two national titles.
Luke, 13, from Chiddingly, claimed the singles and mixed doubles crowns at Kettering.
The Ringmer Community College pupil, seeded two, overcame third favourite Mark Middleton (Yorkshire) 4-15, 15-6 ,15-8, then teamed up with Fontaine Chapman (Warwickshire) to beat Mark Newbury (Hampshire) and Emma Wooley 15-2, 15-4.
Luke said: "It feels good to be a national champion. It was quite easy until the final.
"Normally I beat Mark more comfortably but he defeated the top seed (Newbury) in the semi-finals and was playing well."
Bronwyn Powell, who trains with Thomson under Badminton Association coach Wendy Adams at The Triangle, Burgess Hill, had a good run in three events.
The Heathfield Community college pupil, 13, reached the girls' singles semi-finals where she lost 2-0 to Gabrielle White (Yorkshire).
She was runner-up in the doubles with Chapman and made the last-four of the mixed with James Reynolds (Hertfordshire).
Kimberley George, a pupil at Portslade Community College, reached the singles semi-finals.
Heather Olver (Heathfield) and Charity Barnes (Norfolk) reached the semi-finals of the women's doubles at the national under-19s' championships at Milton Keynes.
