You have to congratulate The Concorde 2 for its consistency.
The quality of gigs is remarkable for such a small venue, although this may have something to do with the resurgence of punk.
The Rezillos and 999 played the other week and The Buzzcocks, arguably the best punk band of all time, will be coming down in April.
Thursday night saw the welcome return of Stiff Little Fingers.
The venue was packed and the band delivered. They played for almost two hours, which must be a record for a punk combo.
Jake Burns, Bruce Foxton (formerly of The Jam) and the gang were highly polished and very professional.
Every track you can remember was played, starting with Tin Soldiers right through to Johnny Was on the second encore. My favourite track was Fly The Flag.
