Reading Mr Murphy's letter (The Argus, March 24) prompted me to recall just why I and many other people voted for Tony Blair.
I did not vote for Mr Blair to invade Iraq (we've still not sorted Northern Ireland), I did not vote for Mr Blair to charge our students £3,000 a year for a decent education, I did not vote for Mr Blair to decimate our pension funds, I did not vote for Mr Blair to charge me £150 per month to live in
my own house (council tax) - would you like me to continue, Mr Murphy?
Yours truly, one who will not support Mr Blair & Co again, a hard working, law-abiding, tax-paying Englishman.
