Why do I feel I am the only person in Brighton and Hove who supports our brave troops in the Gulf?

I make a plea to all readers to respect and support all the troops in the theatre of war and their loved ones.

They need to know all of us back home are thinking of them and praying for their safe return.

Please fly some flags, put some posters up and show the troops we care.

I am proud to have been a member of the Volunteer Army Medical Services during the previous Gulf War and, although I never saw active service myself, I know many who did.

Our Armed Forces are the best in the world and we should tell them so.
