Brighton and Hove City Council has a lot to answer to for its lack of care and the desecration of so many beautiful and captivating buildings and landmarks - the city's jewels lost in the past 50 years.
It has not cared about conserving what makes Brighton the place it is. Truly criminal and very upsetting.
Long live the West Pier in the hearts of many people and, hopefully, in the flesh.
