A design and marketing agency has helped a Formula 1 rookie to pole position in his race to secure financial backing.
Mosaic, based in Palace Place, Brighton, has produced a prospectus and share certificates for the flotation of Minardi driver Justin Wilson.
Mr Wilson, who had to find significant funds to support his driving, is motorsport's first driver in which people can buy shares in return for a share of his future financial earnings.
Mosaic designed the logo, prospectus, share certificates and web site in time for the first race of the season, the Australian Grand Prix, last month.
Managing director Laurie Griffiths said: "The biggest challenge was designing something that would appeal to the motor racing fraternity.
"It's a relatively high-risk investment but the real value will be for people who want to get more involved in Formula 1.
"If his career takes off they will be able to share in his success but, whatever happens, we've made sure the share certificates are beautiful things that many people will want to frame.
Mosaic won the contract after its successful work for The MotorSport Sensation, former Formula 1 driver Jonathan Palmer's corporate motorsport entity.
Dr Palmer manages Mr Wilson and also owns Palmersport, which is based in Southwater, near Horsham.
Mosaic came across Dr Palmer when he was featured in Sussex Enterprise's Business Edge magazine.
Mosaic designs and publishes the magazine, which has been shortlisted from 92 entrants for the PPA Best Customer Magazine awards.
