The family of a Brighton man missing for more than three months have appealed for him to come home.

Darren Saunders, 31, walked out of his flat in Cranbourne Street on January 19 and has not been seen since.

He left behind all his possessions, including his guitar.

Darren, who worked at Timpson Shoe Repairs in Brighton, had been suffering from depression.

His four sisters, who live in Brighton and Hove, are pleading for his return.

Donna Hudson, 30, who last saw her brother on January 10, said the family was devastated.

She said: "The past couple of months have been awful. He had been very down and said to me he wanted to get away but I still cannot believe he has just disappeared.

"The worst thing is not knowing where he is and if he is all right. Darren and I have always been so close because there is only 18 months between us. I miss him terribly."

Darren did not call his mum on Mother's Day and did not phone his niece, Donna's daughter Corrie, when she was 12 on February 9.

Sussex Police have so far been unable to trace Darren.
