St Leonards conceded their 100th goal of the season when they were comprehensively beaten 8-1 at Histon in the eastern division.
The Cambridgeshire side got the ball rolling in the fifth minute when Peter Munns scored and they were 2-0 up three minutes later when Munns grabbed his second following an indirect free-kick which was awarded after keeper Greg Nessling picked up player-boss Gary Bowyer's back-pass.
Adrian Cambridge made it 3-0 before St Leonards had their first shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but Bowyer's effort went narrowly wide.
Four minutes later St Leonards missed a good chance when David Minnis headed over.
Chris Tovey, Cambridge and Munns, who completed his hat-tick, extended the hosts advantage as they went into the break six goals to the good.
After half-time James Rowe scored twice more to make it 8-0.
Dean Thomas got Saints' consolation from the spot on 80 minutes after Paul Henty had been fouled by Louie Farrington, but it was too little too late for the visitors.
