Last Saturday, stickers were plastered around West Saltdean giving a phone number to call if anyone was seen delivering BNP leaflets.

By that evening, the stickers had been torn down and dumped in the garden of a local Lib Dem candidate.

The culprit also tore down a Lib Dem poster from her door.

Whoever was responsible for this childish act should note that the Lib Dems are in no away involved with the distribution of those stickers.

We have three excellent candidates standing for election in the Rottingdean Coastal ward and have no need to resort to such tactics.

We will oppose the BNP through the democratic process with well-rounded, balanced policies.
